My Story
At 25, I began my policing career with high hopes and a desire to make a difference. Coming from a family of public servants, joining the force felt like my destiny. My early years were filled with camaraderie and the thrill of helping others, but they also brought immense challenges. I faced personal tragedies, including the loss of both parents, and battled PTSD that nearly broke me. After 20 years on the frontline, I left the job I loved to rebuild my life. Now, through writing and speaking, I share my story to help others navigate their own struggles and find healing.
